Keep photos with records
Development work focused on keeping durable copies of selected photos with the animal’s records.
FosterMe brings the details of caring for dogs and cats into one place. It is an Atlas-owned product in testing, not a commissioned client project.
In testingFostering means keeping track of profiles, feeding, weight, medication, symptoms, and veterinary visits. Those details need to remain associated with the right animal and be easy to revisit.
FosterMe grew from the founder’s household experience fostering animals. The starting point was a practical care workflow and the people doing that work.
Animal profiles establish the context. Quick logging captures care entries, and timelines and weight charts make earlier records easier to review. Archived profiles preserve an animal’s history.
The current app keeps care records locally on the device. It does not provide Atlas-operated cloud sync.

Feedback informed refinements to logging, save behavior, and layouts around device safe areas.
Weight-chart presentation was refined to make recorded measurements easier to inspect.

The application is in testing and is not yet offered for public download. The screenshots show the current testing build and may change as feedback is incorporated.
The approach carries into Atlas client projects: understand the workflow, define a focused first version, and use feedback to guide improvements.
