The current FosterMe app does not require an account or provide Atlas-operated cloud sync. It has no advertising, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs.
1. Who this policy covers
Atlas Integrated Technology (“Atlas,” “we,” or “us”) provides FosterMe, an app for organizing foster-animal information and care records. This policy describes the current local-only app and information you choose to send us for support. For questions, contact support@atlasitg.com.
2. Information stored in the app
You may enter animal names and profiles, species, age or estimated birth dates, shelter identifiers, foster dates, photos, weights, feeding records, medication records, symptoms, veterinary visits, and notes. FosterMe stores this content in the app’s storage on your device to display profiles, histories, and care information. Atlas does not receive or host these records through the app.
Notes and photos may contain personal information if you put it there. Include only information you are authorized to keep, and avoid unnecessary details about adopters, volunteers, or other people.
3. Photos and device permissions
When you choose to add a photo, FosterMe uses the device’s photo-selection or camera functionality, as available. The selected image is used for your animal records. The operating system may request permission for the relevant feature. You can manage available permissions in your device settings; limiting access may prevent adding new photos.
Revoking photo access does not necessarily delete copies already saved in the app. Removing a photo from FosterMe does not delete its original from your photo library, and removing the original does not necessarily remove the app’s saved copy.
4. Accounts, tracking, and sharing
The current app has no Atlas account system, Atlas-operated cloud backup, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell your in-app records or use them for targeted advertising. The app does not automatically send your animal records or photos to Atlas, shelters, or other users.
5. Device backups and platform services
Your operating system or backup provider may include app data in device backups depending on your settings and the platform’s behavior. Such backups are separate from an Atlas sync service. Atlas does not control or guarantee backup inclusion, completeness, or restoration.
Apple, Google, or a testing platform may independently process store transactions, device diagnostics, or testing feedback under their own policies and your settings. They may make platform reports or feedback available to developers. This is distinct from an analytics or crash-reporting SDK embedded in FosterMe. See Apple’s privacy policy or Google’s privacy policy for their practices.
6. When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message, and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your question, investigate problems, and maintain related support correspondence. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver and store them.
Please redact unrelated personal information from screenshots. Do not send passwords or a full set of care records unless a specific support investigation needs them and you choose to provide them. Support information is not sold or used for targeted advertising. Access is limited to people and service providers assisting with support; information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and security.
7. Retention, deletion, and your choices
On-device records: Records remain in app storage until removed using available app controls or until the app’s local data is deleted. Archiving an animal retains its records; it is not deletion. To remove the entire local data set, delete the app and its data using your operating system’s controls. On iOS, offloading an app keeps its documents and data and is not the same as deleting it.
Backups and other copies: Device backups, original photo-library images, and copies you have sent elsewhere may remain after local deletion. Manage those copies separately with the relevant provider or recipient. Deleting the app can permanently remove records that have no recoverable backup.
Support correspondence: We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to address the request, maintain relevant support history, and meet applicable obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us by emailing support@atlasitg.com. We may need to verify the request and retain information required for legal obligations or an unresolved dispute. Residual backup copies are removed through the provider’s normal retention cycle.
Atlas cannot remotely view, retrieve, or delete records held only on your device. There is no FosterMe account to close in the current app.
8. Security
Use a device passcode and keep your operating system up to date. Anyone with access to an unlocked device may be able to access the app. No storage or communication system is completely secure. Atlas cannot recover local data that was lost and has no usable backup.
9. Children
FosterMe is intended for people responsible for animal care and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through support. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
10. Policy updates
We will update this page when practices change and revise the date above. If a future release adds accounts, cloud services, or other data collection, we will describe those practices and provide any notices or choices required before the new processing begins.
